Michael Jackson Tribute at B&amp

I know it’s abit late but still wanted to catch the moment.  The Barns & Nobles near me has a stand of all current MJ’s memorabilia magazines on display.  It’s strange to see how one man can affect and generate so much interest in the little world we live in.

Amazon Kindle DX

The big brother of the kindle have arrived, it’s called the kindle DX.  the only difference between this new DX and the original is size, at 9″ the new kindle can handle most standard whole page views without straining your eyes.  It’s also super slim at 1/3 of an inch.  But it does come at a cost of US$500.  That’s kinda pricey for a E-book reader I think.  I’ll stick with paper ones for now.  Check it out here.

Lewis Shiner giving away free books online

I’m not a big fan of Science Fiction books, I just enjoy watching them.  So when a well known SF author decides to give away his work for free, one might just try reading a SF book to see if it’s just as exciting as watching a SF movie.  Check it out here.

Comic collection

I wish I had a comic collection like John P. Borger, who have kindly donated his entire collection of 40,000 comics to University of Minnesota Elmer Anderson Library.  It’s a really good read, check it our here.

Free online reading

You can read Neil Gaiman’s American Gods for free for a limited time.  Too bad you can’t download it and read it off line, still if you’re connected to the net all the time, why not.  Check it out here.
