Here’s a great combo, some smart chaps got some coffee beans and aged them inside bourbon barrels, over time, the oaky flavor would infused into the beans thus giving it a whiskey like aroma. These beans are roasted and then packaged fresh and sold as Whiskey Barrel Coffee. Yummy stuff, check it out here.
Beer is my go to pick for an alcoholic drink and for hot beverage I’m a lover of coffee. Imagine a drink where you can combine both loves into a one. I present, El Trinufo Coffee porter. The circle is now complete.
For the pass year I’ve learnt to appreciate a good cup of coffee. Now everywhere I go I would try and source the best place for a great cup. So I am in Hong Kong and obviously would love to try some coffee. That’s where I ended at 18 grams, a little coffee shop tucked in a smallish corner in Causeway Bay.
My reference coffee is the Latte and that’s what I ordered.
I must say, living in Melbourne which yields some of the best coffee ever, this coffee falls a bit short. I believe it’s the milk the did not do the trick, it’s not as smooth and creamy as I normally find in a good Latte. Still, this coffee is still better than the average Starbucks or Pacific Coffee that’s littered around Hong Kong. I would give it a 3 out of 5. There’s plenty of space for improvement. You can check it out here.
This is a great idea, you have a android phone docked to your coffee machine, scan the code on the coffee capsule, it plays music to the mood of the coffee blends you are having. Cheeky really, I like wery wery much. Check it out here.
Google have launch Streetview for Australia. All the major cities are covered. Here’s the location of one of my fav coffee place call Staint Ali, they roast their beans onsite.
